This disease is caused by an infection-causing bacteria that creeps into the pelvis through the vagina or cervix. One of the most common causes of pelvic inflammation is sexually transmitted diseases, such as chlamydia and gonorrhea. If not treated properly, this disease can cause long-term pelvic pain, blocked oviducts, infertility, and ectopic pregnancy.

Orchitis can attack one testis or both at the same time. Just like epididymitis, orchitis can also cause swollen and painful testicles. If left untreated, this disease can cause infertility and decreased testosterone production.

3. Prostate disorders

The prostate is a gland in the male reproductive system that encloses the urinary tract or urethra. This gland produces seminal fluid which functions to fertilize and protect sperm. Disorders of the prostate can be in the form of prostate inflammation (prostatitis), prostate enlargement (BPH), or prostate cancer.

4. Hypogonadism

Hypogonadism in men occurs when the body does not produce enough testosterone. In adult men, this condition can cause decreased libido, impaired sperm production and function of the reproductive organs, and infertility.

Problems with the penis are not infrequently complained of by men.
